Day 2 of Elimination Diet

Hello! To dive right in yesterday was harder than I thought it would be. We have been eating very clean and healthy for a year and I thought it would be easier than it was. I think the hardest part was I was hungry from about 2pm on until I caved and made this Avocado Pesto Pasta at 10pm! (I'm only feeling slightly guilty lol it was so good!) I had gluten free rice pasta instead of the linguini and had 1/3 cup sunflower seed instead of the pine nuts. No lemon juice or tomatoes so I did stay on phase 1. I did not finish the smoothie fast and do not think I am going to. I feel like for ME and MY body weight I can not afford more than a day of a fast. We are going to continue on phase one for the recommended days with the smoothies in the morning! If you (whoever beautiful you may be :) ) I suggest a HIGH quality blender the Ninja we have is great but it takes more time and does not get it smooth. I would suggest a Vitamix or Blendtec they are both amazing! We are saving up for a blendtec or Vitamix. I would look on amazon and shop around for a good price.

I want to mention that this diet is hard to do when your cravings are in front of you. Right now I have 1 chocolate covered peanut butter ball in the freezer that is like CALLING my name lol. God has been so good and faithful to me in this journey like He always is. He blessed me with an amazing husband who is so supportive and brave. I just want to say THANK YOU my love for taking this journey with me. For not eating what I can not eat or brining it in the house either in your show of support. God knew I would need you and I am forever grateful to Him for you.
